Can I swap a RAID5 from one serveraid 5i controller to another?

I need to know how safe (not destroy data) it is to place a RAID 5 from one serveraid 5i to another identical machine, that is currently running, not a new machine. I'm thinking that since the raid config is on the discs that I just need to copy the config to the controller. Both machines have the same 3 disc arrays in the same slots. Am I wrong?

Are you planning to move all the hard drives from server A to server B?  Where A and B are the same model of server?
If so then yes it should work.

Not all of the drives, A and B servers both have 1 RAID1 as boot, and 1 RAID5 as data. I just want to move the RAID5 from A to B. Both controllers are identical, and on the same firmware rev.

As long as it's the whole raid 5 volume then it should work. You may have to go through the controller's configuration to make it see the volume.
