Event Id: 1015: MsiInstaller

I'm a Vista Home Prem. User 32 bit.

I keep getting this when I try to install PalmDesktopWin62 from the website. It says:

Error -1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

So i check my event log and found this every time that that error comes up so does this:
Sophos I think is getting affected by the MsiInstaller not working since it won't update and i found something releated to the .msi files.

I've tried the microsoft page for help and it doesn't "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910816 ". It says to update windows installer and when i try it says "this update does not apply to your system" and i'm installing Windows6.0-KB942288-v2-x86.msu.

Method 2 non of those process are running or there.
Method 3 tried it and does not work.
Method 4 tried it also and does not work.
Method 5: It cause setup.exe to stop working and has and you get this:

Someone suggested using this tool to fix it since it helped them. I game it a try and it work at cleaing all the .Nets.

BUT then i got this when i tried to reinstall the new .Net Framework

I tried something and unistalled an update. That same update I can't reinstall because of this problem.

I get a setup error for Windows Installer 3.1 sayind "Not enough storage is avialable to process this command." I have about 100 gb left on my hard so I don't think this is right.

I see, how much RAM do you have on your computer? Do you have 2 antivirus application running on your PC?? or 2 antispyware applications? I don't think that this error is referring to hard-disk storage, it might be referring to RAM (active memory).
