I have a HTML input textbox. Is it possible to capture the value which is in the HTML textbox through ASP.net c#

I understand what is written in http://forums.asp.net/t/1349916.aspx, but the name of HTML textbox does not appear in the Visual Studio Intellicense list of availbe objects.
