Hi,

Can anyone guide me on how to do this? I want to be able to use my computer to dial a local landline number and make conversations thru my headset. I don't want to use internet for dialing/conversation. Basically, I just want to be able to put to my pc the part where you use the phone to normally dial and converse.

Hi,
Most modems (Voice, Fax, Data), internal and external, have software that you can setup to do this. Usually you will need to set up the sound devices in settings so that you have a recording device and a playback device. Once these are set, you should be able to dial from the panel and away you go.
What type of modem is it?

Hi DivingDemon,

Thanks for the reply. I already know (I think) how to set it up. I researched about it and found a site that explains it. Your answer gave me the keywords I needed. Thanks!
