It is not a good practice to allow anonymous relay. I would suggest you to create a New Receive Connector for email relay. Please refer the article to configure relay for specific IPs.<br />

Actually, the solution Florin presents is correct as well. &nbsp;If you read the procedure you see that the anonymous relay is configured to only relay mail from a specific internal ip address, such as that from a copier that does not allow for LDAP-type authentication.

Hi there, i am trying to get our photocopier to send mail to external email addresses. This has worked before prior to upgrading to SBS 2008. I can get it to send internally if i tick the anonymous users tag in the recive connector but still no luck on the extranl mail. Can anyone help?
