Issue with implementation of cftextarea (FCKeditor)

Hi everyone,

My first post and probably not my last :-)

MY CONFIGURATION
=============
- Coldfusion 8
- Fusebox framework 5
- Using FCKeditor from cftextarea (richtext="true")
- Under a VPS Account

WHAT I'M TRYING TO DO
================
When I click on the button image I get the Image Properties window (see pic-1.png) and then I click on the button "Browse Server" and get the error message "This connector is disabled. Please check the 'editor/filemanager/browser/default/connectors/cfm/config.cfm' file" (see pic-2.png)

But the issue is that the file is encrypted.

Once I find a solution for that problem I then need to be able to link each of my user to their own image folder.  As of now I have set each folder image using SESSION variable.

To conclude what I need is : To provide me with a solution to edit the config.cfm and then link the image folder to my user SESSION Image variable.

If you need more info, please let me know.

Thank you for you help.

filebrowser component was disabled in CF8 (only got enabled in CF8.0.1).

check Rakshith's blog on the subject: http://www.rakshith.net/blog/?p=41

IMPORTANT:
there is a huge security issue with CF8's implementation of FCKEditor's file upload functionality!!!
read this: http://blogs.adobe.com/psirt/2009/07/potential_coldfusion_security.html
(Rakshith's post has been updated and now links to this, too)

Thanks Azadi,

I followed the instruction at Rakshith's blog

I've also copied the folder FCKeditor to the root of my site.

But now I get the following error :

Any clues? I will check if it could be the fusebox framework causing this issue.

Since no solution was provided I've decided to use Yahoo Editor plugin.

Works great.
