Has anyone had any success with the automatic testing features of Visual Studio?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Which testing features are you referring to?  Are you talking about Visual Studio .NET Team Suite testing in 2005/2008?

I think so.  I've just been told that there are unit and integrated testing capabilities in Visual Studio 2008.

Yes, there is testing in Visual Studio 2008, including the Professional editions.

1) You need to create a Test Project (i.e. Visual C# | Test or Visual Basic.NET | Test).

2) You can add different types of tests (Ordered, Unit, Manual).

3) When adding a unit test, you can use a wizard, or create the test manually.

4) If you use the unit test wizard, then you will need to select a class that you would like to test, and unit tests will automatically be created for typical testing scenarios.
