Well, I made a dumb mistake. On Friday I ran all the updates on our SBS 2008 server without properly investigating what was in the updates. Sharepoint ran the SP2 Update and now I can't connect to anything. It seems that although it says SP2 installed properly, it didn't.<br />

I then tried to run the update via command line with -force, but it fails on the 3rd step. It says that it cannot restart the SPSearch Service and that I should restart manually. However it will not start manually.<br />

Has anyone else had an issue with this?
