editing .dmg image files in Windows

I have a .dmg disk image file that needs to be edited.
the problem is that Windows cannot read mac based files properly
I need to erase/add some files and burn the image file to a cd

any solutions?

thanks that worked,
now I need to resize the size of the volume
the image is from DVD and I removed some files so it fits to a CD, but because the volume is still 4.3 GB, I can't burn it to a CD.

any solutions?
