Help, Exchange calander on Iphone not updating when users add an event!

When users add an event through their outlook calendar and try to sync the event to their Iphone using ActiveSync, the event doesn't sync and doesn't show up on the phone. But, if the event is made on the Iphone it will show up on the user's workstation outlook. It will sync one way, but not the other. Does anyone have ideas on settings that could be changed to fix this using exchange/outlook or on the Iphone?

In the settings for the iPhone for the exchange mail box make sure that Calendar is included in the ActiveSync, when you first setup exchange on the iphone you can choose to not have the calendar sync/contacts sync.

Have you tried removing the exchange account and then readding it. A simple step but often sorts out some of these problems.
If that doesn't work then you could try a restore as well, I am presuming that you are on OS3 already, if not then do an upgrade.
If that doesn't work then as a next step if you could provide the results of an active sync test from www.testexchangeconnectivity.com
Thanks!

We went in to outlook and changed the shared calendar permission for default to review, then we set a new calendar template to default make all appointments private just in case. It isn't perfect per say, but it's safe and it does the job.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem and indeed changing the permissions for sharing does make it work, but what exactly does it mean? I cant leave my calendar open for all to review
Thanks
