vps consuming too much memory for no apparent reason

my vps is consuming too much memory for apparently no reason my host has even suspended my vps . they said i need to upgrade  while i still receiving the same amount of visitors which is not correct solution.

vps details : 100gb disk /dedicated  memory 1gb /burstable memory 3gb

is this linux vps ??

if linux
then what top command show

whats the memory status of top command  ??can you show output ?? also this command

ps aux | awk '{print $4"\t"$11}' | sort | uniq -c | awk '{print $2" "$1" "$3}' | sort -nr

basicaly, if you are happy with memory you got, then VPS provider they should not stop your service, unless if there is any security issue like, your server has been compromised or anything

upgrade is upto client, they cant force you for the update
