Hi,
I got a problem with my laptop and I need to find out what is wrong with it. Basically, is not booting, I cannot access neither recovery partition nor BIOS. The only thing I can see on the screen is VAIO logo (So, screen works). What do you think it could be.
Cheers

I'm assuming that you are not getting any type of beep codes. If you are please post them. (ie one long beep followed by three short, etc.)
I've seen this occur before and was able to work around it by removing the laptops battery pack and running off of the adapter only. I've also seen faulty CD/DVD players cause this as well. You should be able to remove that easily enough.
In short, you want to remove any peripherals and run "bare bones" only. No docking station, etc.
If you are still unable to get past the blinking cursor you may have a faulty component on the motherboard or the motherboard itself.
