hi,
1) can we do left/right outer joins using SQL Viewr in Web I or, in Universe objects only?if,what is the best way of joinings.. in webi or universe
2)in what cases we use Variable Editor for Incompatible Objects

1. In Universe
2. Incompatible objects -- this is at the Universe level wherein when you create the report - it complains that your query contains incompatible objects. This is again a universe issue which you need to fix via contexts or aliases and selecting the proper objects
