I have WSS 3.0 installed on Server 2008. I have given login access to various users to the WSS server but when they try to login to the server, a username and password box comes up but if you put in your credentials you're still denied access. I cannot even login from a different pc to the wss server with my admin info.
Is there anything that am doing wrong? Plse help for am very desperate. thnx

For the username are you putting the domain in which the user belongs first?

(e.g. Username: CORP\tdantona)

Yes, but in this case microsoft is talking about a user being removed and re-created with the same name and stuff like that. In my case I have not done any of that and still cannot login to WSUS. any other ideas? thanx

First lets confirm whether this is a WSUS issue or a Sharepoint issue.

I just cannot login to my sharepoint server from any computer. Even though am logon to the same domain network as the sharepoint server with domain admin credentials I still get access denied. I have the addded the domain admin as one of the owners.
