Weird keyboard capitilisation issue
Hi experts
Got a weird issue with a users keyboard, which I suspect is going to probably end up being a replacement keyboard but heres the scoop
a few days ago he noticed that his shift key wasn't capitalising keys but the caps lock key did.
not all keys, only certain ones like D and J (that he's reported anyway)
the shift key capitalises other letters
caps lock produces capital letters
its happening in word and outlook, however those a both MS Office 2007 products, so I don't know if there could be something more in that.
I told this guy i'd probably replace his keyboard in a few hours but if you can give me some idea for if its NOT the keyboard that would be excellent
The setup is a Wyse S10 client connecting to a Citrix presentation server in which nothing has changed and no other users have reported issues. There is also a KVM switch in place which is also going to be removed as a test.
