How to add records to a sql server database from ms sql server management studio

Hi,

I am new to sql server and ms sql server management studio express.  I have a database and I would like to know if and how it is possible to add and manage records from ms sql server management studio express.  I can't find anything like this...

You Can use the INSERT Statement to insert records. Here is a reference for syntax and examples:

You can just right click on the table in question and select "Open Table" and just add a new record.

OR

Click the NewQuery button and type in your SQL INSERT syntax right there...

Yeeah!  Right click and open table:  just what I needed:  from there you have a grid where you can easily manage the records.
