Exchange 2003 mailbox not allowing blackberry to redirect folders

I have 1 user on my blackberry server that every time I try to redirect his personal folders in Blackberry manager, my store.exe goes crazy and pegs the CPU at 99 percent, and throws out a bunch of errors in row, until I remove the redirection.

Here is the error:

EventID 20265

MAPIMailbox::CheckSelectedFolders - OpenEntry (0x80004005) failed

THIS IS NOT A PERMISSIONS ISSUE, I've run all the checks and recreated the user 4 times, and I've restarted the server and the services. I've als had the user wipe handlheld and re-activate.
I've recreated the MAPI profile, checked the permissions using the blackberry mapi utility and everything checks out fine. I think the user's mailbox is corrupt in some way and this is causing the error. How can I fix this? The user has 8+ gigs of email, so I would rather not export and re-import a pst. Is there a utility that will scan the mailbox and fix and db errors?

exchange does this by default every night, only a offline defrag would do more, but I think it will not help this issue as it may be an incompatible data type that exchange recognises (or accepts) but blackberry does not.

8 gig's is a lot of messages, is the mini magnet more powerful than the maxi magnet?

ITW: is the blackberry server faster than the exchange server?

I'd be working out each error firstly, might just be wrong message format in the wrong folder..
like a calendar entry in the notes or tasks section, can you post?

I apologize, but I'm not sure what else you are asking for. What would you like me to post? Also, if there is a message in the wrong folder, how would we find it? The user has 110,000 plus messages.

The Blackberry software (Blackberry Professional 4.1) and Exchange sp2 reside on the same machine. There are 23 users on blackberry. This is the only one with this issue. I should also mention this user worked in the past, but after the exchange store shutdown due to disk space issues, when that issue was resolved, he was the only one that didn't come back up correctly.

you could preform an integrity check on the database, that may give some clues.

isn't 4.7 the latest? an update may help..

But if that users is being rebuilt from scratch in the blackberry, 8Gig would certainly take a thrashing, so lets look at those errors....

yes, errors that indicate a network outage, or Information store is not available..

Not surprising if the CPU is at 99%..

Did you try disabling anti-virus firstly?

Just disabled and tried again. Perhaps I need to add the folders to redirection slowly? If I add 1 at a time it seems to function better and it doesn't seem to max the cpu. If I add a whole group at once, I get the same condition, even with A/V disabled.

Especially if it is being used by others also..

However I may be a clue to some other issue in your network..

Such as a Faulty NIC card, a half duplex connections or broadcast storms -etc.

Would be looking at performance monitor, may be low on disk space, not enough memory etc.
start it with perfmon on the exchange box..

Exported emails to pst for user, deleted user and mailbox, purged mailbox, removed user from blackberry, restarted server, added user back to AD, exchange. Had user re-import all mail from pst. Added user to blackberry server. Re-activated user on blackberry server. Everything now works.

This must have been a mailbox issue, corrupted somehow, or a server performance issue, since when we cleaned out the mailbox, it went from 14gb to 9gb, and the server was able to handle the redirection then.
