mootools based "elselect" javascript library only working in IE -- why?

I'm trying to implement the following mootools-based "elselect" javascript library ..

http://www.cult-f.net/2007/12/14/elselect/

... into the following form ("Quick Reservations" in the lefthand column).

However, .. it appears to be working ONLY in IE7 and IE8.

It is not working in either Firefox or Safari.

Why is that? What do I need to do to get it to work in Firefox or Safari?

Note that it is supposed to work in Firefox and Safari -- as this example demonstrates:

http://www.cult-f.net/samples/elselect/

Any thoughts / suggestions?

Thanks,
- Yvan

I have just tested it on Firefox and it worked fine. Version info :-

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10

Nope .. you are mistaken.  The text input boxes I styled myself using background images. However, the select dropdown boxes do not have the rounded corners in Firefox 3.5 or Safari 4.0.

What am I supposed to look at? I have just taken (again) the link http://www.cult-f.net/samples/elselect/
and called it up in IE8 and Mozilla 3.0 (version as above) and place the two browsers side-by-side. The display is identical.

That's OK, but I get a script error in line 32 "Null is not an object" in file elSelect.js.

This might come from the fact that the references to the divs are called mySelect1 but the div is labeled MySelect1 (capital letter). Try fixing it so that the pages does not error and it will probably work.
