Chanspy can use the "whisper" feature so that you can talk to the spied on channel...and their party on the other end won't hear it. It might be used for "coaching" a sales rep during a call.
In 1.6 you can use Bridge() to bridge any two channels together

In 1.4 you might be able to use MeetMe() to join two channels together... but it would be a programming effort for sure.
