How to convert Text to XBM File

The requirement is to convert simple Text to xbm image file.

given Text "Hello" the output should be XBM image file displays Hello

There was a library "gd" that could draw and print text to graphic files. You can do that (with specific font, color, size) to an PNG file, and then use ImageMagik to convert that PNG to a XBM file.
