Project 2007 constantly asking for a reboot

I installed a copy of Microsoft Project 2007 on one of our staff's computers, which I had mistaken for our Volume License copy. When I tried to activate the product I was not able to because that particular copy had already been activated on another staffs computer.

Realizing my mistake, I uninstalled that copy and installed our volume license copy and the program runs fine. The issue is that about 3 times a day the user is presented with the message "The configuration changes made to Microsoft Office Project Standard 2007 will not take effect until your computer has been restarted. Would you like to restart now?"

If I'm not mistaken, this message was displayed immediately after I installed the first (non-volume copy) of Project 2007.

I'm willing to bet that this is a registry thing, but rather than go in and start screwing around with the registry I figured I would post something here and hope that someone else has run into / solved this issue before.

Any input is appreciated - Thanks.

Was unable to find a solution for this issue.

Upon further investigation, it seems that this is an issue with Outlook 2003 and Project 2007 being on the same machine and doesn't appear to have any fixes at this time.
