I had a problem with the network adapter on a dell optiplex 330.  First I could not access the properties on the lan card. I would just get a message stating unexpected error occurred.  I removed the device from device manager and tried to reinstall it.  Now when the driver is installing I get an error stating that the driver could not be started error code 31.  I deleted the driver file from windows\system32\driver folder and downloaded and installed the drivers from dell's website but i still get the error.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
