I got my hands on the game, installed it properly, and played, but it boots me out a little after the intro.
I saw a post here about using regedit.exe and/or sysedit.exe to fix the problem, but I'm scared to to mess around with them since they look so complicated.
how do you fix it using regedit.exe?
I read that they are different between OS to OS. Mine is a Vista.

right click on the exe file and select properties, from there you will find the compatiblity tab, check the box and run in a different os mode...see if that helps!

It took me a while for it to work. I suspision the game has bugs of thier own also, which was throwing me off. Other than that the program is running well for now.
