Backup exec 12.5 can not find VMware Converter

I have been trying to get Backup Exec 12.5 to restore a VM.

When I run the job, it fails after a minute or two and says:
The job failed with the following error: Cannot find the VMware Converter. Please install the VMware Converter.

I have VMware Converter installed on my VCB proxy and I have it pointing to the VCenter Server. I have followed the instructions step by step but still manage to get this error.

I am running VCenter 2.5, ESX 3.5, VM Converter 4.02, VCB 1.5, and Backup Exec 12.5

I guess its too late to suggest getting something thats intended for backing up VMs like Vream FastSCP, or esXpress, or ....... anything that runs through VCB scares me.

Bought it, refuse to use it ....

Well, I have the offical answer from IBM so here it goes:

VMWare Converter 3.02 is a free standlone application that you can run on the VCB. This is different from VMWare Converter enterprise(this should reside on the VCenter server). Backup exec 12.5 requires 3.02 and 3.02 only in order to perform these backups.

Once I had all of this into place, I was performing backups and restores with ease.
