Can anyone tell me how far Simpana 8 can scale?

i.e. is there a limit to the number of MAs, iDAs etc that a single CommCell can manage? or is it really down to OS and disk limitations?

The resources on the CommServe is the only limiting factor. The more MediaAgents you need the more resources you need on the CommServe to handle that. I doubt there would be many companies that would need so many MediaAgents you break the CommServe.
