Running BE 11d build 7170.  I have a backup job that backs up a local drive on the media server.  The job runs a pre-execution batch file that takes a snapshot of a volume and presents it as drive X: to the media server, then the job backs up drive X:.  It's been running fine for quite some time, but recently it periodically fails with:

e000848c - Unable to attach to a resource.  Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.  For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-33932

I've looked at the suggestions on http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/327019.htm but none of them seem applicable.  I've verified that the script that presents the snapshot works and the drive and data is accessible on the media server.

When I right-click on the failed job in the job history and retry, the retry always seems to run fine.

Maybe you want to try to delete the job and recreate again if it's a policy based job.
