Error When Refreshing Materialized Views

Hello Experts,

I was doing my normal routine when it comes to updating my materialized views from the Oracle console; however, when I did it for a few with the same "Master Link" I get:

ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object MATHEWJ.CATEGORIES@FRESH.US.ORACLE.COM ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 2 ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2254 ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2460 ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2429 ORA-06512: at line 1

I am not proficent in Oracle so I am kind of clueless when it comes to things like this, so how should I go about troubleshooting this.

Appears to be a network / TNS problem where the remote database closed the link for some reason. Often there is an ORA error on the remote.

You should look in the alert log and listener log on the remote database (FRESH.US.ORACLE.COM) to see if there are any errors.
