MIME format error email keeps repeating

2 days ago I received an email from a vendor.  The body says:  This is a multi-part message in MIME form.  I have now received that same email over 500 times.  Since then I have received no other email - my system seems to locked up on this.  

When I try to hit the send/receive I get this message:

Task 'mail.adinoenergycorp.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).  The server responded: e;'

Help!  I'm not a technical person and finally found your company via yahoo search.
