Can you have more than one terminal licensing server?

Hello Everyone,

Just to give you some background, my predecessor setup terminal licensing on a Windows 2003 server that has windows 2000 TS Cals. (I am not sure what these cals are used for because we do not have any workstations that are running windows 2000 and I am not sure a Windows XP client can use it, so I just want to leave it alone for now).  I am going to setup a new server and install terminal services on it.  I just purchased 10 TS Cals.

Can I also install Terminal Licensing  on this new server and add these new licenses?  I mean is it okay to have 2 terminal licensing servers in a domain?

The Win2000 TS CALs are standard in newer version of TSLS.

Yes, you can have multiple TSLS in the domain or point out multiple TS to use the same TSLS.
Having multiple TSLS is recommended for redundancy as the TS will not work if it can't contact the license server for issuing CALs.
