I am looking for a full screen video capture software. I have tried Snapit, Windows Media Encoder, and CamStudio and I havent gotten great results. Any suggestions? I need something that is high quality and perferably free.

Try this one. I've used it in the past.

I've used this one, and found it to be pretty good:

The mouse pointer can also be included.  You can define a flexible HotKey.
I've been advocating Replay Video Capture for some time now, but alas I see those old names like those that you mentioned trotted around time and time agian -- yes they're absolute rubbish. Get the trial of Replay Video Capture and you'll probably end up buying it. It can record in MPEG-2 or WMV with lots of options for resolution and bitrate etc -- as well as the ability to size the frame to any size around the screen.
'awawada' has given the 'appplian' link.

I'm with LeeTutor on this one, we use ScreenHunter in our company a lot, though do have a few die-hards who have their own Snag-It licenses, but by enlarge, it's SH for screen grabbing.  If you need to get screenshots from WMV or MPG files use a program called Image Grabber II.
As you all know I drink very heavily so things often look pear shaped to me. But isn't the author asking for video capture software, and isn't Screen Hunter an image capture software? Am I missing something  here?
And if I want to grab any image of screenshot I just hit "print screen -- 'PrtScn' on my keyboard and crop out the image in Photoshop. Don't need any software to do that, even works for any video -- just pause on the frame and hit print  screen.
It's unclear whether or not he wants video capture or screen capture.  CamStudio and Windows Media Encoder (neither of which I have) appear to be video capture programs, but SnapIt is screen capture.
