Signature Button in Lotus Notes 8.5

Hi ,

I've created a signature from HTML and it works perfectly, I just do not want to attach the signature to all emails, but just the ones that I select, is it possible to have a button on the toolbar that will apply the Signature set in "Mail Preferences" ?

Thanks

Sure,

Just click in the body of your email, then click the More button on the action bar, then click Insert Signature from the menu.

Sorry, I meant, is there a way or a script that can be done to avoid 2 clicks ?

Sure,

For this, use the Stationary feature.

Go to "Tools \ Stationary" from the email navigator, then click "New \ Stationary - Memo".

Fill out the form so that it displays the signature that you want to use.

Now, whenever you want to compose a new memo with the signature, you just need to select "Tools \ New Memo - Using Stationary" from the inbox rather than "New Memo".

This is also handy if you want to use different signatures to respond to different people.

That could work, but I was looking for a way to simply click one button and it would automatically add the signature that is defined in the Mail Preferences. It's a question of saving time as opposed to click 2 or 3 times.

The button already exists in the action bar under More (as I described in my first post).

If you want to move it out from under the More button so that you only have to click one time instead of two, you will need to modify the design of the mail database.  You will need the Domino Designer, and Designer or higher access to your mail file to do this.  If you are not familiar with Lotus development, I recommend that you live with 2 clicks.
