DTS Legacy Password Problem

I am in the process of migrating SQL 2005 to a new Server. I have moved all the databases and moved the Legacy DTS Packages. In the near future I will set up SSIS Packages (as I develop my skill with SSIS). A couple of weeks back I tested the Legacy DTS and it required a password to open the package. That was OK (not desired). However now when I try to open the package I get an error stating that "SQL 2000 Designer componets are required" Can anyone tell me what I may need to do, or didn't do?
Thank You

Install the DTS Components for backward compatibility, pehaps.

May have to do that, however just last week I was having no problems.

Unless you have installed the DTS Components you will not be able to view or modify any DTS Package. Period.

See here (it is for SQL Server 2008, but the information is the same for 2005):
