Hi everyone,

Thank you in advance for anyone that can support me on this or at least point me in the right direction.

I have created a unordered list as my menu (code below). The menu is working fine however I was hoping to have a little arrow that sits underneath the hovered button and when the user rolls to hover the next button, the underlying arrow rolls across with it to create the next hover effect.

Here is an example of the page I am working on: http://www.nextcode.com.au/storage/test/

Here is a image sample of what I am trying to achieve: http://www.nextcode.com.au/storage/test/sample.jpg

Again, any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated as I am VERY new to jQuery and javascripting in general (warning, please be patient with me. lol).

<ul>
  <li><a href="#"><span>home</span></a></li>
  <li><a href="#"><span>about</span></a></li>
  <li><a href="#"><span>services</span></a></li>
  <li><a href="#"><span>portfolio</span></a></li>
  <li><a href="#"><span>get a quote</span></a></li>
  <li><a href="#"><span>contact</span></a></li>
</ul>

Sounds like you may want a customized version of lavalamp:

EXACTLY what I was after... Thank you, I had been searching all morning... Clearly I was using the wrong search phrases.

Again, thank you, it's so easy.
