I was asked to download Cisco VPN Client; however, the cisco site wouldn't allow me. Is there similar client I can use to connect to a network?

Hello Experts,
I was asked to download Cisco VPN Client; however, the cisco site wouldn't allow me (permission's issue). Is there similar client I can use to connect to a network?

yep. to download the VPN client you must have a current cisco login account (CCO account) tide to a smartNET contract.

Chances are you will be unable to connect to the VPN without a cisco client.

Other options are to download the client from the original CD that came with the CIsco firewall.

My suggestion is to let your administrator know you are unable to download without a login to cisco and get him to provide the install files.
