3rd party tool for users to create folders and security groups within an OU
We have a mandate to automate the creation of folders located on one of our NTFS shares. Our environment is Win2003. The share is our central repository for each department to store their critical data. Currently when a new folder is requested we manually create the security group (to include the users specified access to the new folder) and then manually create the folder and then add the sec. group with the appropriate permissions. Ideally we would like to implement some sort of web app (or other workable solution) that would allow department admins to create the shares themselves instead of having to wait on IT staff to create them. Is anyone aware of a method or tool that would accomplish this goal? Thanks for you help
