Active sync,
The  Active sync program uses the contacts personal selection , not the default , contacts.
By default it open with the contacts, however we would like to change the default and make the next selection the default, we can , however ever time we bring outlook 2007 back up , its at the orginal contact selection..
How can we make it stick ?

So you want the ActiveSync default changed?  Or the Outlook 2007 default?

JOrzech,
We would like the to have Outlook 2007 to boot to the Active Sync default. As it is now, Outlook defaults back to the installed default.

Hmm - see if this helps:
http://www.ditii.com/2007/11/20/exchange-server-2007-whats-new-for-exchange-activesync-mailbox-policies-in-sp1/

Default Exchange ActiveSync Mailbox Policies: Exchange 2007 shipped with a wide variety of Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy settings. You could enforce a password, require that password be a certain length, prohibit the downloading of attachments, prevent users from reusing past passwords, and specify whether users could access information stored in Windows SharePoint Services document libraries. However, all of these policy settings don't do much good unless you assign your users to a policy. In Exchange 2007 RTM, all users had to be explicitly assigned to a policy. You could do this one at a time, or use an Exchange PowerShell one-liner to do it for you. In case you were wondering, here's the PowerShell cmdlet to assign all existing users to a policy.

    Get-Mailbox | Set-CASMailbox ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy (Get-ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy "Sales Policy").Identity

That's really pretty simple, but wouldn't you like it to be even easier? Well, now it is. Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1 allows Administrators to designate an existing policy as the default policy. When a policy is marked as default, all new users will automatically be assigned the policy. You can switch the default policy at any time through the Exchange Management Console or the Exchange Management Shell.

HI,
Were not using Exchange. Its a simple Outlook 2007 program.
We have a program that updates mutli computers, My Boss's contact / calender . The active synce program uses the the the contacts/personal copy rather than the default contacts. We have those 2 too choose from. Outlook boots to the just contacts and not the the contacts/personal . How can we have the outlook boot to the contacts/personal without having to worry about clicking the right one.
Thank U
Anthony

If I'm following you correctly, I believe this will show you how to do that....

http://www.bgsu.edu/downloads/cio/file49492.pdf

1. Click on the Address Book icon in the toolbar.
2. Click Tools in top left corner of the form.
3. Pull down the arrow on the Show this address
list first menu, and select Contacts.
4. Click on the Up arrow on the scroll bar at the right
side of the form until the name of your Contacts
folder is visible.
5. Click on Contacts to select the folder.
6. Click OK.
Note: Do not change the order of the folders in the
When Sending Mail&. box, because this will
interfere with Exchange features such as calendar
sharing and voting options.
Your local Contact folder will now be selected by default
every time you open your Address Book in Outlook.
