Good day,

I would like to know better about the .us tld for a search within google.  I saw that almost no one buy them, even businesses in the us.  Does it perform bad in general in google, all other things being equal?  I'd like response from experience, not theorical.  Thanks!!!

There isn't a disadvantage from an SEO standpoint to having a .us domain. The reason that people don't tend to buy .us domains is that people are just not used to seeing the .us in the US; people are used to seeing .com, .net, or .org.
