Outlook reminder service not running

Hello

I have a user who's reminders are not popping up and he gets an error bubble that pops up stating his outlook reminder service will not start.  I have searched for ages to find that there are the start up switch's clean reminders and such.  I used clean finders, clean reminders and clean free busy.  I am not sure if there is another one to try but the error keeps coming back.  I have also tried to recreate the pst.  I think it is something coming from an old calender entry.  Any ideas how to clear this error up

thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have set up 3 appointments throughout the day.  If the service crashes or stays running I will let you know
