Hi, experts! I'm having a bit of an issue with Quark Xpress 7.5 on Leopard. I've already tried contacting Quark's technical support about this but they weren't able to help me at all, so I figured I'd see if I could get any insight here.
The problem that I'm having is that when Quark starts, it appears to load normally but right when the toolbar on the left appears it immediately crashes. BugReporter comes up for about a minute but then goes away without giving me any indication of what's wrong.
This is on a fresh Quark installation, hence my extreme confusion.
Tech support had me do a few things already:
1. Delete all Quark preference files.
2. Isolate the required Quark executables and run it from within there (this effectively disabled BugReporter, giving me a standard "application quit unexpectedly" message).
3. Install Quark as root.
Sadly, none of the above steps helped. Anyone have an idea as to what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance.
