I have several machines with this problem.  It starts with a update from Sun Java.  After they install it, McAfee appears on their system.  Their system then slows down.  Only thing we can do is clear the temp files and remove this McAfee.  We are running a mix of Symantec SAV's including Endpoint and Kaspersky 6.0 - updating everything to Kaspersky.  What is this virus coming in?

Found where McAfee was coming from.  SUN Java includes that as a check mark to install it by default.  Uncheck, doesn't install.  Question now is why does it cause the system to slow way down.  Is it fighting our Kaspersky?

Yes it is.  It is never a good idea to have multiple anti-virus applications installed on the same computer.  They will always conflict with each other.

Indeed it can.  Especially if they are both running some sort of live protection and they are both scanning files every time they are modified/opened.
