I have an already created dataset in Visual Studio that has 3 tables. I've added a 4th table in MS SQL. How do I update the dataset scheme to include this 4th table. I didn't want to create a new dataset because I don't want to loose my custom table adapters.

If you are talking about a typed DataSet, then you should be able to add the 4th table to the designer, without losing anything, but I would make a backup copy of the .xsd and related files first.

Yes, that's what I would like to do, but you don't say how to add the 4th table to the designer. I finally got the answer from a programmer buddy. Once the Data Source is open and the new table is in the list, just drag and drop it into the DataSet.xsd. Then the table adapter is created. Thanks for taking the time to post a solution.
