Exchange 2003 no mail in or out - outlook 2003 error 0x00040820
All machines on the server can not get mail. It was this way when I got in this am... only errors in the logs are: [BIPPe] WARNING: Using default BIPP shared secret. I see Event ID 50000 Starting ExchangeConnector Sync connector library, The message tracking log file D:\Exchsrvr\VAILSRV02.log\

Are you able to access Outlook Web Access for the users.. Is your internal mailflow is also down
What GFI product is it exactly?

Yes to the webaccess but same issue no mail... I users are in the same boat. When I go to ESM -> Tools -> Monitoring and Status -> Staus -> the server with issue says "In maintenance mode" ?

Try to disable GFI and then check

once you do this restart the IIS service, if that too did not work,
then probably you might have to remove the GFI from the Box

I'm installing latest update for GFI MailEssentials 14.0
You can turn off maintenance mode.

I've seen "In maintenance mode" is a non-issue and STMP is running

Okay now I know why "In Maintenance Mode" none issue. The Best Practices Analyzer states... very thing is okay. The update didn't help I also tried to disabling GFI and still no mail.
