When trying to open any Excel file I am getting the message:
"Run Time Error"
"Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
This application has requested the run time to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."
None of my Excel files will open unless I open Excel in a Safe Mode.

Check your Addin's in the app. There is something in there interfering.... In your options, and depending on your version, in the Trust Center in O2K7.....
If this is Office 2007, Adobe Full doesnt work with anything less than 6.0 for instance. The pdfmaker.xla crashes....

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART
Office 2003, replace Office12 for Office11 above.
Office 2002, replace Office12 for Office10 above.
Office 2000, replace Office12 for Office9 above.
Empty the above folder path for your version. Also, inside Excel, across the top......Tools, or Options>Addins......What version are you on? Will help get better directions?

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately the system has crashed hard. I have passed along to others more qualified than I am to handle.
