Sort by COUNT() - MYSQL

Hi, I have the following mysql query;

SELECT idea_id, COUNT(vote_id) FROM int_votes GROUP BY idea_id ORDER BY COUNT(vote_id) DESC

I want to sort the results by the COUNT, but when I try the above it says 'invalid use of group'.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
