Outlook / Exchange Responses on Exchange 2007 using Outlook 2007 Client Default to Off

Out company uses Outlook Calendar in a non-traditional manner.. One that is a nighmare to manage, but it is what it is....
The Staff Group Container until Exchange 2007 was sent as a resource and each client was set to auto accept resource bookings.
Exchange 2007 has changed the game a bit (for the better) and now to achieve the copmany goal, the staff container may be placed within the "Required Field".
In order though for no confirmations to be sent (they do not want confirmations of appt), the end user/staff member must go to (at the calendar toolbar) --> Responses and uncheck "Request Responses"... This pretty much fixes the entire issue..
The currrent corporate goal is when ANY staff member sends an appointment it replicates on everyone's calendar regardless of conflict without using an actual resource... (I know... I know...) SO in the short term the fix is to find a way to default "Request Responses" on the OUtlook 2007 client in the calendar toolbar to NOT be checked....

Did you try to Turn Off the Request Responses Option Programmatically as explained in the given Microsoft knowledge base?

Helped fixed the problem. Because EXCH is being used in an unusual manner, extra work was required.
Key to this being.. If a sas ad before you has mis-used resources.. You have your work cust out for you.
