There was an error connecting to the server

I am not able to log in into my login form it gives me a server error. I am able to get connected to the database...everything is fine...anybody know what's going on.

Do you have remote connections enabled in your SQL Server.

Kindly check your connection strings whether it is fine or not

Yes i do.  I was able to log in 30 min ago. It has been working fine.

I am also able to connect to the database server for another web service or another database name.

Is there any session time out or connection timeout from your application.
I suspect this to be as part of the application where you handle the connections.
