Truecrypt through batch file

Hello all.  We store NT backup files on an external drive.  The files are sent to the drive via FTP each evening.  We need to encrypt the files once they have been copied to the drive.  Anyone have a suggestion?  Everything is done via batch files.  I was thinking we might be able to do this with truecrypt but haven't tried anything.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Using TrueCrypt you do not need to encrypt each file using batch file or ... as its virtual encrypted drive will encrypt each new file automatically.

I have only used truecrypt while I am logged on.  Can you mount a drive without being logged on?

Yes
You can use "encrypt system partition/drive" and check "mount all device-hosted true crypt volumes" in preferences.
