What is the difference between an Internet Security program and an Anti-Virus program?

I have a customer that has an Internet Security Suite (KasperSky Internet Security 2009).  However I am trying to figure out if this is considered an Anti-virus program that runs on the computer or if just scans inbound/outbound internet traffic.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Internet security program is usually a firewall or something that manages ports.  Antivirus software scans data for viruses.
