install hp oem server 2008 on vmware esx

Hello,

When I try to install Server 2008 x64 using HP oem Cd on VMware ESXi 4, Iget the message:


I guess the problem is with the oem CD looking for the HP "physical" BIOS and not finding it because I'm install as VM.

Is there a way to make this CD work on VM? or do I have to download the Server 2008 installation from Microsoft?

BTW, the HP message during installtion is:

HP
This system is not supported platform.

no answer was provided.

downloading the trial OS from microsoft + the product key from the HP oem CD solved the problem
