I have a symbol Pocket PC (MC5040).  My work recently went from WEP encryption to WPA2.  The device also needs to be AES and 802.1x authentication.  If I upgrade to the latest OS 6.1 i believe will that add those options?  How do I upgrade from my current OS to the new 6.1.  I can't find it anywhere online.

There is no way to upgrade to 6.1.

It has to be released by the manufacturer, in your case it was not.

Sorry

Is there anyway to get the WPA2, AES and 802.1x options by other means?
